Good morning stackers.
Day 51 of 100 push ups till 100k completed.
We also reached Yosemite National Park yesterday. This place is absolutely stunning! We also lucked out with the weather.
One of my favorite places in the world. Pictures cannot capture the emotion it evokes.
reply
Agreed. Pictures don't do this place justice. Being here is the way.

Doesn't it make you feel small? I love that place so much.
reply
Yes it does make me feel small and humbles me.
Standing so close in front of El Cap also made me appreciate what Alex Honnold achieved and the greatness of that achievement. Makes me really bullish on what humans can do.

I didn't know you were headed to Yosemite. That's awesome. Quite the drive.
Looking forward to your Hiking Adventures Yosemite edition in the future.

i gotta get outta the boring UK more often. but sadly travel is just so expensive these days. hopefully i'll be able to afford to travel more. i've been to some incredible places, south america, south east asia. but i havn't been in some time and really need to get back to it.

Why? You just grab a backpack with some food and clothes and go... Put your hammock between 2 trees and sleep. Why do you have to do expensive trips when you have so much nature near you? You don't have to go across the globe just to hike.

Hiking is something we do regularly. But unfortunately due to UK laws, you can't just put a tent anywhere. It has to be proper campsites and they charge you. Plus to get anywhere worth hiking from where I am, you need to drive to the decent places, so there's fuel cost and then parking costs. There's always hidden costs, nothing is free. The UK has found a way to charge you for anything they can these days. Doesn't make it impossible ofcourse, just more difficult. But we do go hiking often.

omg.... and you just like that obey the laws. Impressive how much obedient are people nowadays. If tomorrow a gov will say in a paper that people must walk in 4 legs, people will just obey.
Definitely worth watching. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing. The Great Trail caught our attention when my wife told me about it a few years back. It's quite something to walk across the whole trail.

I can write about my Yosemite trip in this week's hiking post. We didn't do too much hiking, but there are photos of some beautiful views I would like to share.
