Yes I was disappointed too. Still not sure who the other two are. It was speculated that it could be someone who is not that active but is zapping huge amounts of sats.
Ah, the legendary nemo I imagine. Still, there are four categories that are equally weighted. It should be almost impossible to be at the top just from excelling in the zapping categories.

My hypothesis is that it's one of the AMA hosts. Two of them are right after siggy on the top posts list for the month. If they also zapped a bunch of comments and got a bunch of their own comments zapped, then their scores will be pretty good.

I guess if I was optimizing for highest placement I should have run the pool out of my account.

You really should have. It was kind of a pain having to do the accounting for the in-season tournament, though, so I get why you'd rather use an account that just fully pays out.

I see the hacker news bot is in the top 20. Do you think oracle could be in the top 3.

I was going to ask at some point if oracle was excluded. It seems like it would be, right?
reply
You would think so but the hacker news bot isn't so who knows.
@ek is @oracle excluded from competing in MSM?

No, @hn, @oracle and @nitter are not excluded.
@WeAreAllSatoshi noted the other day @hn is pretty high in the ranking for some reason. All it does is crosspost links from HN. That should give everyone who is below @hn something to think about, lol. Or it should give us something to think about our own algorithm. It is currently #19.
@oracle and @nitter are nowhere to be seen though. They are not hiding.
That would be disappointing.

We still have 11 days to overtake them.
