yeah. okay.
if he was satoshi, he would know EXACTLY how to prove it.
no one is satoshi until a message is signed with an address that mined a satoshi block.
period.
this is all stupid and moot.
why the fuck would satoshi return and make chainlink?

If I created Bitcoin, and realized that the anonymous identity I used to introduce it needed to go away, I would probably want to continue to work in the 'crypto space' to self-sustain since I wouldn't be able to touch any of my bags until its adopted en-mass. Why would he want to dox himself if he's set to become the richest man in the world, but can't afford the necessary protection in the meantime? To reveal your true identity would also endanger bitcoin itself because people would not only look to you for guidance and the distributed governance model would fall apart, but people would also judge bitcoin on your own personal details and background. It would be the most difficult secret to keep, but if you reveal it, you know you're dead. Sure he can sign a transaction, but that would only serve to expose yourself and if its better people believe you died and won't come back, why would you do such a thing?

i think you validated my point, IF satoshi wanted to reveal himself, he could just sign a message . no interview no public appearance, no need to bring heat on himself.
i think signing a msg with keys linked to a known satoshi address would be the easiest, and safest way of doing it.
and at the end of the day, we wouldnt know if it was ACTUALLY satoshi,
just that this individual holds the keys that satoshi once held.
the timechain doesnt know identity, only keys.
i see your answer for why coming back and doing chainlink, but why not come back and just dev as an anon, there are a handful out there that remain anon while contributing to bitcoin in various ways

Satoshi should not want to reveal himself, and Sergey Nazarov denies being Satoshi. It doesn't prove he is, but if he is, he would deny being Satoshi. That's my point.

fair,
okay to play off this, what do you think about the whole drink from the mug 'signal'
coincidence or trolling?

Ridiculous.
So is the Morse-code finger-tapping thing. I know Morse code, and I know about tapping fingers. There is no connection.
Here are some coincidences that are blaring to me:
- He has skill as a programmer, but went to NYU for management. (Satoshi was narrowed down to the northeast given his timestamps and his financial adeptness)
- I looked at Satoshi's first git commit. His coding style appears to have originated from someone with a background in financial accounting programming (New York area). This correlates with Sergey's skills.
- His initials match that of Satoshi.
- The claim about his registering a domain name for smart contracts before bitcoin was released can't be explained away.
- The time he was in college coincides with the early development of Bitcoin, this could have been his pet project.
- Sergey, if preferring to vacation in Vietnam, may have also had a strong connection to Japanese culture (thus the Satoshi name)
- Sergey became a serial entrepreneur at the same time as Satoshi announced he would be going away.
- The common IP address pool/Russian proxy service between the two shows a close personal connection at the least

This video was more interesting than I thought it would be, nice. The evidence is either a coincidence, Sergey is trolling everyone, or maybe this is legit. Can't believe anything for sure until Satoshi's private key is used though 🤷🏻♂️. Kinda fun to speculate until then.

Well worth the watch. The last clip where he suggested it was a group of people might be the real truth that he hides behind

только сатоши знает ответы на свои вопросы... только он так может ответить. но это не меняет ни чего. биткоин живёт и без сатоши. но сам факт того что это придумал человек из РФ очень пугает. насколько они там умные?

Yeah this shit is annoying. Its clear that they're using Google translate to respond back to English comments.
Even if they were using Google translate to interpret English, then they should respond in English using the reverse translation method.

It kind of does. If he shows up after it's worth $20M/BTC he will be the most powerful person in the world.
