Didn't watch the video but saying crypto is trash is like saying stocks are trash. In 9/10 cases it probably is. If you are buying it thinking "wow i'm gonna get rich" it's (probably) a scam.

Crypto is just an asset you can sell to retail with very little oversight which is why it's been so easy to access the dumb money sitting around that would otherwise be pumped into stocks or just wasted on consumption

It's there to make everyone feel like they can trade their way out of a hole while it just provides easy liquidity for the smart money who no longer need to jump through hoops to rip the faces of retail traders
