Nic Carter Learning To Fight Suggests Massive Shift In Influencer Macro Conditions
I have to carefully craft headlines to fit Stacker's character limit. 8-12 more characters would allow me a lot more creativity, but I will comply with the rules.
The new trend in influencing is training in martial arts and fighting. Jake Paul has inspired individuals like Nic Carter (recently challenging another shitcoiner to fight), and Ben Armstrong to get into the ring for massive engagement. Influencers turning to fighting, vs other engagement techniques could mean that this a general shift in the influencer sphere. We could see many low testosterone beta males with huge internet following start taking TRT and posting videos of themselves molesting punching bags.
This would likely signify that the influencer market as a whole could be transitioning away from a proof of stake influencing model to more of a proof of work influencing model. While these individuals are not required to train hard at the gym for maximum online engagement, they are required to actually go to a gym for someone else to record them training.
Having massive changes in appearance like Nic Carter has had also is beneficial for overall image. Male influencers are likely fearing the pressure of the bull market as a result of knowing that the female influencers will be coming back, messing up the males stock prices.
Bull markets are notorious for bringing a lot of women to Bitcoin in order to influence. In the bear market, the average Bitcoin related product consumer feels so discouraged at the result of not being able to afford a girlfriend. During the bull market that changes as their weekly $25 stacks on Strike turn into a fair amount of wealth.
They get cocky and quickly go on the prowl for women. Jessica Hodlr successfully got a boyfriend by tweeting about it, because she did it in the bear market where the Simps are significantly less activated. The smaller pool appears to have helped her find a suitable partner.
In the bull market though, we could see TV shows on network channels about Bitcoin women influencers courting simps in something resembling the Bachelorette. The money that flows into the industry and the demand for influencing will out pace the communities ability to remain sane and rational. The result will be cutthroat competition for the top influencing spots.
In the bear market, there is far to much supply on the influencing side than their is demand. We are about to see the Titan of influencer supply crunches. The nuclear bomb that could kill the whole industry is AI generated women, but there's still time before they take over.
Influencers who are clued into the macro landscape right now understand that getting fit and hitting punching bags is the way forward for maximum success. It may not be long before we see someone who's career is selling trading courses online fight in the UFC octagon.
Are you implying there may be a Carter/Armstrong match in the future? I would pay a few sats to see that. Sure, Armstrong might have the weight advantage, but Carter has more mobility and hand speed.

If the trend continues we can fork it and create Fightstr.

That would be killer. Still haven't used that service.

I doubt it but it's possible. I think there will be an overall increase in influencers jumping into the ring. I need to spend some time coming up with predictions

I feel like we have a pandemic on our hands
There must be a massive cohort of people who never played a contact sport and got into fights on the field or got knocked the F out by accident and or had their ass kicked in high school or got into a bar fight and know whats up, and why you should avoid conflict and really only use it if you're defending yourself
They're just lapping this stuff up seeing people they can relate to throw down in a controlled environment, it's so weird.
If this works and pulls in views, the chicks will jump on it.I am calling the top of the market when I see female crapto infloozies announce their in-ring debuts

Bezos started it.

Who did he fight?

Not the fighting, the transformation from scrawny gamma nerd to beefy mercenary assassin.

Zuckerberg and Elon might fight at some point.
