I wouldn't say I'm into it... I try to be prepared for everyday life in good times and bad. Its hard to be a bitcoiner and not have some preparations in mind. I like to focus on what is in my control and do things to make sure myself and those I love are well planned for.

Yeah, you know... I'd love to start prepping in terms of extra food, water, and general everyday supplies, however: I don't have a place of my own, and my parents don't allow me to start with the above.
Until then, Bitcoin's my prep. 🤭🤷

I'd still recommend listening to this episode. There are things that have nothing to do with space.
But you bring up a good point. One reason I do not live in a city or apartment is because of how much limitation this adds to my autonomy. I don't shame anyone that either chooses to live in a city or in an apartment. Some would rather not, some choose to. There are many positives to living in these situations. Many tradeoffs to consider. The main thing is to consider what your goals are. What kind of life do you want to live. Then work towards that.

In regards to being able to sustain yourself?
Well, I'm living in one of the most crowded countries in the world. If I'd want to do what Americans can, as in: buying some acres and start working on a homestead far - or at least relatively far - away from any population centers, then I'd have to move to another country. 😜.

Yeah, you have to focus on what you can do where you are. If I were in your position I think I focus on potential risks. Really the first step is mental. What are likely natural disasters in your area for example? How can you make yourself more resilient to unexpected events. But many haven't even thought about expected events. It blows my mind how few people have even a small emergency fund to handle expenses that happen every year. And I'm talking about people that have the money to do so.
What I'm saying is I'd go ahead and listen to this episode for the principles and think about how you can think about your situation.
