yeah it’s a pretty tight race in the west right now.

i figure if they can move up one spot to #8, then win the play-in game against #7, they’ll be seeded against #2 in the first round.

now that i look at it, the first 3 spots are also a very tight race.

Ok, I can see that. They could get as high the 5th seed still, but Dallas would have to go into a tailspin. I'd probably pick the Lakers in any series other than Denver.
