"CrYpTo TrAnSaCtIoNs" Yes miss me with that shit, I don't need permissions from a bunch of crooks to use Bitcoin. All my Bitcoin transactions are tax free
Especially given bills rarely get repealed. In a few years with the resumption of an expanding money supply, it'll mean a heavy burden tax liability for anyone interacting on/with Bitcoin.
That said, good luck policing & enforcing this at scale, when $50 = $1.

I feel you, but if you wish to live a peaceful existence it is best to pay your taxes.
Sure for FIAT transaction (while I try to limit my payments as much as I can) but for bitcoin? not a chance I'm not paying taxes
You do you homie.
Don't forget that we live in a world where every politician is for sale. (AKA lobbying)
Fingers crossed this doesn't pass.

Its already (legally speaking) taxed. This bill just carves out an exemption. At best, all you're saying is it'll be of no impact.
Agreed. This ain't it. 🤣
This would make crypto de facto legal tender.
Wasn't it originally $200? And maybe $600 before that? Disappointing to see
