We are hiring a systems engineer who wants to work with us on improving self-custody.

What you will be doing

• Research new protocols and applications for self-custody
• Design and engineer systems in Rust
• Help manage our infrastructure (deployment, upgrades, security)
• Be an integral part of our team contributing to whatever is needed to help Lava succeed

What we look for in you

• You align with the guidelines and values we use to decide who we hire and how we operate: https://www.lava.xyz/onepager
• You understand self-custody and crypto protocols (ex. bitcoin). You were able to, for example, read our loans specification (can find on our github or twitter) and understand it.
• You can do one of the following (or both):
  • design and engineer systems in Rust. If you don’t know Rust, you’re willing to learn it ASAP.
  • work on infrastructure (deployment, upgrades, security).

Nice to haves

• You live in NYC, or you’re willing to relocate to NYC
