Wild Weekend
There was much going on in the sports world this past weekend. The last weekend of the NBA season, UFC 300, the Masters, and some great MLB series.
While it did do a number on our NBA survivor pool, and was quite compelling, the NBA's final day of the regular season did not bring as much change to the standings as many of us expected. Only a few seedings changed hands. Most notably the Knicks jumped up to 2 in the east and the Suns avoided the play in game in the West by securing 6th place via tiebreaker over the Pelicans. @Undisciplined has posted the next round of the Survival pool so get your picks in if you are still alive. UFC 300 was a great event. I am looking forward to seeing what they do with their upcoming event at the Sphere in September. Great turn out for our UFC pick em as well.
I did not do very well in my Nostr Masters pool, which is no surprise considering I don't really follow golf anymore but it was a fun experiment. I did watch a bit of the tournament though so having a some sats in the game definitely increased my interest level.
I will post the Week 2 recap for the MLB survivor pool shortly from the @mlbofficialscorer account. Strong week for the pool.
Sats for all, GR
I love that the Celtics reward for getting the one seed is facing either the Heat or 76ers.

Yes, that is going to be very interesting.

I wonder what happens to that roster if they get eliminated in the first round. All the hype and expectations just to get a first round exit. Will JT or JB run out of patience and request for a trade? Definitely interesting to see.

My bad luck in the MLB pool is giving me karma elsewhere. I've mentioned that do Draftkings pools, but only the free-to-enter ones. I entered the NBA one yesterday, which was entirely about would beat the spread, topic I'll get wrong 99 times out of 100. But my random guesses netted me $5. A small win, but as a return on $0, it's pretty nice.
