You've taken the less favorable end of the past couple of bets, so I'll take the Pelicans this time. Vegas must know something, right?
Good luck on your bet, because I think GR won't be needing the luck by betting on the Lakers.
reply
Pelicans did beat the Lakers once this year. So I guess anything can happen but I would be shocked if the Lakers lose.
reply
I appreciate it.
I did jinx him by choosing the Lakers in the pich 'em, at least.
reply
I spent so many sats on this AMA zapping everything. Things could get ugly if I lose this bet.
reply
The more you spend, the more you save.
reply
Exactly
reply
Deal. 5k sats shall be mine.
reply
Game is closer than I expected. I thought lakers would be up by 30 and then give some back in 4th.
reply
Zion was a beast tonight. I also thought the game wouldn't be so close, that the Lakers would blow the Pels away with a commanding lead. I guess I was wrong.
In other news, they lit the beam in Sacramento tonight. Kings was the team that had the commanding lead and dominant win tonight. Can we finally officially say that the dynasty is over?
reply
Can we finally officially say that the dynasty is over?
I was wondering about that. I'm sure they're going to shed salary this summer, but would it be possible to bundle Paul, Wiggins, and picks to trade for a cheaper talent upgrade?
Steph, Klay, Draymond, Moody, and Kuminga still might be something they can build around.
reply
I think it has been over for awhile now. I think Steph would like to go back to his roots and play for the Raptors.
reply
Of course he does. He's sick and tired of the warmth and sunshine in California, and wants some of that bitter winter action.
reply
I think Klay is done. Too inconsistent to win with him. You can't play over 30 minutes in an elimination game and have zero points. Steph's window is quickly closing too, not enough time for the young guys to develop enough to go deep in the playoffs, or even make the playoffs. Then Draymond is just a complete wildcard that you don't know when he will get himself ejected. That core is done, it had a good run and brought 4 championships. Break it up, trade for picks, and rebuild. Let Steph have some veteran influence on the young guys before he retires.
reply
I agree about that being the pragmatic choice, but I think they’ll keep those guys together until it’s completely untenable. If I were a fan, think that’s what I’d want.
reply
Klay also wants to come to the Raptors.
reply
Dynasty is over
It was over last year when they lost to lakers in playoffs
reply
I thought I had it. WTF happened to Zion?
Until proven otherwise, I'm going to maintain that he pooped his pants like Paul Pierce.
reply
I definitely thought Pelicans were going to take it when they came back from 11 down in 4th to tie it.
reply
That was a lot of fun. Lebron going airborne taking that Zion charge was wild.
reply
Now the Lakers get the pleasure of getting swept by Denver.
reply
Lifetime ban for the guy who gambled on himself in Toronto
reply
Yes, Porter has a bright future as a crypto trader getting blown up betting on dogwifhat coin.
reply
The story how he was caught is interesting. A prop bet on himself raised eyebrows because no one previously made such bets
reply
The perfect crime is most certainly was not. Did they think these betting platforms wouldn't be tracking anomalies?
