Just check mempool.space prior to sending out any tx and use their recommendations on fee size. They've never failed me in the past.
is the low-priority good to send? Approximately how many days will it take to be confirmed?
reply
Could be many, many days in this new post halving era. If e.g. you go with 20 sat/vB.

okay follow-up q then, is there some cheap way to do it? I just want to move like 30k sats.
reply
I don’t think you can do anything to have a cheap on-chain transaction these days, just wait. Use LN for these small chunks of sats.

where can I learn the ways to move funds from on-chain to LN and back?

Cwallet is going to be your cheapest swap. They have lightning under "SATS." their swap feature allows swaps via 11 liquidity pools from lightning to over 200 other tokens including Bitcoin on chain and WBTC and BTC-B.
