Yes, many times since I was a kid, but I never stayed out there. I also never partied out there. I mainly just drive through. Real Long Islanders like Montauk, which is past the Hamptons and the end of the South Fork. I have spent a lot of time on the North Fork, where the regular people go. The Hamptons are for the beautiful people. I'm an ugly local.

In southern ontario we have the Muskoka region that would be classified as our type of Hamptons where affluent people from Toronto escape the city. Especially the area along Lake Joseph.
I live on the other side of the tracks (or bay in this case) where the commoners like to weekend. I ain't complaining though.

i’m pleasantly surprised this is being entertained, thought it would be one of those things that would cause traditional financial markets to really dig their heels in and reject because “we’ve always done it like this”
