I was intentionally agnostic about where those sats go, but that seems to be working for Sensei.
I'm curious why that's better than buying the groceries with a Fold card and stacking sat rewards. Aren't you basically paying someone else to pay the company fiat?
Personally, I'd rather hold on to my sats until I find someone who is actually accepting payment in bitcoin.
That's true probably better to pay your fiat and stack your sats and bitcoin company isn't paying for those gift cards in bitcoin so at some point they are converting to fiat to pay Kroeger for the gift card. You do get some sats back rewards on your sat purchase but mostly it is a novelty at this point. Maybe if there is enough demand for it companies will learn to sell gift cards in bitcoin and keep the bitcoin on their balance sheet. Also feels like you are kind of dipping your toe into living on bitcoin lifestyle.
I wish I could use fold in Canada but alas they don't offer the debit card and only a few retailers for gift cards. I don't even think you can get a fold account in Canada anymore but I was such an early user they let me stay and spin their wheel every day. Unfortunately, they don't offer 250 sats a week any more for spinning every day so it will take me a decade before I can withdraw again unless they enable lightning. Haha. I am going to wait them out. I and my 17k sats in fold can remain irrational longer than they can remain lightningless.

That's the appealing part to me.

That's exactly our situation with freebitcoin, too.
Can you buy bitcoin through Fold? The spins from DCA'ing can add up reasonably quickly.
