With just a month to go for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, construction is in full swing on the massive new Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
The state-of-the-art 34,000-seat venue will host seven marquee matches during the tournament, including the highly-anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on 09th June.
“It is extremely exciting to see the progress made in the construction of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York over the past month. Work on the outfield commenced in January and in the past few weeks the East Stand framework has started to take shape,” Chris Tetley, the ICC Head of Events, said.
I had no clue! I'm going to go to a match, or whatever they are called. So let me get this straight. I should root for Pakistan? 😀
Should I bring a sleeping bag and a change of clothes? Each match is like two weeks?

T20 just takes 3 hours to conclude. I suggest you to buy tickets earlier as they are selling our very fast for India and Pakistan fixture.

I guess it's a modular, temporary stadium? I know the location where it's being built.

Sure. I bet he can also arrange a charter plane for me, straight from New Delhi to New York.
