Why we are saying "the time passed" when in fact we are the ones that are passing through time? Time is not moving, we are the ones moving through time.

Why does time seem to go faster as we age?

Time is a flat circle.

reply

This is a great debate: Is time circular or linear?

reply

I was just joking around, but it is an entirely open question. One of the big discrepancies between relativity and quantum mechanics is how they treat time.

In relativity, time can be distorted and depends on the frame of the observer: i.e. two events (A and B) may appear to be simultaneous to one observer, while A appears to have happened before B to another, and to a third B happens before A.

In quantum mechanics, if two events happen at the same time, that will also appear to be true regardless of reference frame.

Now those same people say to me, ”How do you know some of this stuff?”.

I never stopped asking questions.

No saint, however, in the course of his religious warfare, was more sensible of the unhappy failure of pious resolves, than Johnson. He said one day, talking to an acquaintance on this subject, "Sir Hell is paved with good intentions." James Boswell in The Life of Samuel Johnson LL.D.,1791.

https://m.stacker.news/28107

A couple of days ago I realized that I appear on the list of the 100 "sats winners", I was in position 83 and I was as excited as if I were the winner of the million sats. Yesterday I saw the list and I went further down into the underworld and it was at 97, it doesn't matter, it's very cool to be there, although to be honest I don't have the slightest idea how I managed to be on that list. I have been looking for the bases to understand, but I can't find them. Is the contest based on publishing more? Who receives more sats? Who zaps more? The one who has the most interaction with others? or is it a set of everything? Good day all cowboys!

This is partly the reason central banks to inflate, other than because they can. They are trying to manipulate demand.

Keep Your StatusKeep Your Status

Your Status is as Sovereign once you become of age; a living breathing Man or Woman. Self-governing and having Supreme Authority.

As we are all Sovereign, and have equal status, we need to accept titles within a group or structure, and give authority to those with higher titles to tell us what to do.

The Legal System will try and lower your status so you lose your rights, and are coerced into accepting contracts you need not agree to.

HierarchyHierarchy

This is done by creating a Hierarchy and placing you at the bottom.

The Greek word Arch means rule.

Hierarchy: A combination of the Greek word Hier, meaning β€œSacred” and the word Arch meaning β€œRuler”; Hierarchy, with the earliest sense means β€œsystem of order of angels and heavenly beings.”

From 17th century Hierarchy means a system of β€œRulers”, with varying rank and status.

Monarchy: Monos is a Greek word meaning β€œalone” and Uni is from Latin meaning β€œone”. Mono is derived from these words, and hence Monarchy means β€œOne Ruler”.

Anarchy: Two words from the Greek language, An meaning β€œwithout”, and the Archos meaning β€œChief” or β€œRuler”; combination of these words means β€œWithout Ruler”.

I didn't mention it in my guides, because Samourai was an app useful only the in pre-LN era of Bitcoin.
Nowadays I do not use it anymore, it is not useful anymore.
If you really know how to manage LN liquidity, you can have better privacy.
And I wrote several guides about that.

reply

yes, and why people are freaking out? if worrying for privacy then why not just do some swap? πŸ€”

reply

Because many people still do not know the difference between private and public.
They still consider internet a place where their "privacy" must be preserved... I have news: nothing is private on internet. The internet is a public space. And also they use real identities on internet.

If you want to do something in private, don't do it on internet.
Also they confuse security with privacy.

How many times I have to post this page on SN until people will pay attention to it?
https://livingintheprivate.blogspot.com/

reply
And I wrote several guides about that.

But did you write ALL the guides? πŸ‘€

reply

You mean all possible scenarios? No, I do not pretend that. There's a lot more to write about Bitcoin, how to use it etc.
I have like 70 guides written, but those are just a drop in the ocean.

Bad news is that I get tired writing so many guides and still seeing people that only want NgU, compliance, gov regulation, statism, shitcoins etc...

Why would I continue with more guides for nothing?
I will just retreat into my citadel soon and forget all about this fucked up world.

reply

We are going to use your guides to enlighten and onboard more user, don't worry :)

That's why I am making a copy of them on github repo so others can take them as they please to translate or use them as it is.
