This is the first time I'm seeing this place. Wild. what are these? Age of Sigmar, Old World? Are these video games or comic books? I'm curious, do tell.

The different Games Workshop Warhammer games are based on different timelines/universes. Warhammer 40k is a sci-fi universe based on the galaxy in the 41st millennium, Age of Sigmar is a more classical fantasy world with heavy inspiration from Lord of the rings, the Old World game is actually only just released in January of this year where the others have been around for decades, it is more of a precursor to the Age of Sigmar universe.

Henry Cavill is on to doing something with Warhammer, right? Big role part for a movie or tv show?
reply
Yeah, I think Amazon is making a TV show based on the 40k universe
reply
Remains to be seen. Amazon is hell-bent on featuring female custodes, something which simply doesn't exist in the 40k universe, and Cavill is having none of it.
The spineless crew over at Games Workshop, however, have already released a "fix", or Twitter-post, stating that female custodes apparently always have been a thing according to the (fixed) lore...

I'm actually starved to see men heros. The only female hero movie I actually enjoy is wonder women, but super girl, mr marvels.. eh just not for me. I even liked ant man until they introduce wasps. Now I don't even watch them.

B-b-but white men are pure evil, don't you know?!?!
I'm sick and tired of these shit bags in suits pushing their woke-agenda down our throats wherever they deem fit.

This is the state of our country now...we have to get used to it. Fight what we can!

Im not a fan either. It just ruins a lot of tv shows and movies. They would be so much better if they focused on the material.

Warhammer is a tabletop miniature wargame set in various fictional universes, and is known for its intricate lore and strategic gameplay. Players assemble armies of miniatures representing fantastical creatures and engage in battles using dice rolls and rulebooks to determine outcomes.

Interesting, I've never seen this stuff nor have I heard of it. is this popular in America? Europe?
reply
I am new to the Warhammer universe but have always been intrigued since I saw my first tabletop game.
