Another great article by Henrik Karlsson. This topic -- about the relationship between writing and thinking -- is dear to my heart, and has been discussed here before, though I can't remember the post that I'm thinking about. @ek mentions one here, but that's not the one I remember.
Anyway, if you liked the other HK posts, (like this one or this one) or the topic, this is a must-read.
Really good article. I'm subscribing too.

Damn, this was good. Had clicked the "subscribe" button before I was even halfway done reading it.

Henrik has expressed this so eloquently. Because I’m a fast and reasonably writer, I churn out smooth-sounding sentences that I intuitively know may not reflect my authentic thoughts and feelings. I could let my glibness go or I could erase what I have written and start from scratch to unravel my thinking, one thread at a time. This is why writing must first and foremost satisfy the writer’s soul.

I believe in writing by hand to. Different brain connection than the keyboard

I think I have read this somewhere. Probably not here, somewhere else. When you have that blank page, and ideas start flowing....that is beauty. :)
