You all picked the Orioles this week. They are currently 1-1. Their game against the Blue Jays was rained out yesterday and will not be made up until later in the season. This is the first time we have had a rain out that was rescheduled later in the year that could potentially impact the week's scoring.
With 3 games remaining this week vs the Mariners here is how it will work based on the Rain out rules:
  • if Orioles win all 3 that's a winning week
  • if Orioles win 2/3 that's a winning week
  • if Orioles lose all 3 that's a losing week and a strike
  • if Orioles lose 2/3 we go to the rain out tiebreaker which is total run differential for all games the Orioles played this week. If it is 0 or positive that counts as a win. If it is negative that counts as a loss and you get a strike.
Just thought I would give you a quick reminder of the rules.
Good thinking.
