Everything in the universe may be preordained, according to physics.
Deep-down, I'm a believer in determinism. I think most physicists are. Yet, as doing this made (my) life somehow pointless and depressing, I decided to believe in free will. Yes, I know it is paradoxical to talk about decision in this context, but it's the best I can do. Now I can freely read books by Tim Ferris or other self-help gurus and think I have control over what I do today and tomorrow. But in the end, I know I don't, yet I decide to believe I do.
It's true what they say. There is bliss in ignorance.

True. And once we step out from ignorance, it is very difficult to go back. But yeah, let's not get depressed. Or at least more depressed. I believe in fighting determinism. Decisions made by conscious beings are chaotic. I want to believe in chaos.
