Not too surprised about this number. It takes time and money to maintain a website. It comes and goes with the coming and going of companies that need them.
I do believe in the dead internet theory, that at some point, there will be mostly bots talking to each other. Already seems to be the case on some boomer platforms.
SN might be the answer to that, as both posting and commenting bears a financial cost.
