There's a huge difference between humour and sarcasm, imo.
Humour is to 'laugh with everyone'.
While sarcasm is like a witty remark that is full of knowledge and show of high intelligence.

There's a huge difference between humour and sarcasm, imo.
Humour is to 'laugh with everyone'.
While sarcasm is like a witty remark that is full of knowledge and show of high intelligence.
Somehow that Oscar Wilde quote morphed in my mind over several years into "Sarcasm is the poor mans humor".
Maybe it is a sign of intelligence, but it can become a bit repetitive with some.
Feels like there's a baseline of boring sarcasm that one has to overcome to achieve consistent humor.
