I am not a big fan of it. The negro leagues had some incredible players who went on to be stars in MLB but the average talent level was not equivalent to MLB at that time. If they are going to do this then guys like Ichiro should have his Japanese stats included.
Yeah but that was out of the Negro league control. Did anyone white play there? What’s to say MLB had the top talent at the time when league didn’t base talent solely on merit

Agree it is not the negro leagues fault but when they did integrate over the next 15 years only 85 negro league players ever played in mlb. With approximately 400 total players in mlb per season. I don’t think there was ever more than 30 negro league players at a time.
Maybe teams weren’t signing many black players even after integration but one would imagine that if the leagues were equivalent there would be more than 30 out of 400.
