take things slower at the workplace and invest the time to have one deep conversation with either one student or colleague every day.
Surely. I had done this throughout my teaching career. I used to talk with any of my colleagues on various matters generally. Often these conversations took us deeper and deeper with our thoughts. I believe while you deep diver with a thought, the novelty follows it. If you only keep on doing daily stuff without investing in your thoughts, time seems flying and only flying.
Meditation and exercising in the morning without any interruptions is another way of stopping/pausing (relatively).
But I know your exercises and work outs are are different from normal because you're a father of two. So, you can have a pause moment with your kids as well.
