I'm still struggling to setup a proper relay configuration.
It depends on what you want! If you want the busy/constant notes and loud relays just use the popular relays but if you want something more peaceful, jump into less popular relays. If you're using NIP-65 clients, you'll get your content from people you follow so don't worry about it. Developers are slowly integrating it.
