During the June holidays, my parents-in-law came over from Japan to visit me and my family. My wife knew that they would like exquisite food, so we took them to a Japanese restaurant called Suju.
I examined the menu, pondering my choice seriously. The hokke (mackerel) looked inviting and whetted my appetite, so I decided to order that.
Besides the hokke, my meal included fragrant rice and miso soup. I dug slowly into my food and chatted with my family. I enjoyed the time we spent together.
Looks good.
Did they give you any pickled dishes or vegetables?
Yes. But my wife took away my pickles haha.
Okay I don’t really enjoy them. I will only eat them if I have to.
When I was in Taiwan, I noticed their style of pickle was different.
I always ended up going to yoshinoya because of their pickles, even though the food wasnt the greatest.
Subtle taste memories lol
Yoshinoya sucks in Singapore too.
But I will happily have buta don in Yoshinoya in Japan. Cheap n good 😊
They had good pickled vegetables, and shouga (pink ginger).
They also made really good french fries.
Try them next time haha
That looks awesome, thanks for sharing. No kobe beef? :-)
There was beef but I didn’t bother to find out from why. Haha. Anyway beef from any place in Japan is good. Beer too
Looks good. Would love to know how did it taste though?
