I thought the Meta sub arrived earlier than June. k00b described it as a place to request SN features, so I was actually using it properly by starting the meta takeover which was just a very large and roundabout feature request.

I was a little surprised to see it here, as well. My recollection is that we were already clamoring for territories ("subs" at the time), prior to ~meta being created. It'll be interesting to revisit how that all played out.

Thanks! Reading this helped me understand the context behind @ek’s Zap to Zero initiative. And he must have succeeded recently because I saw freebie attached to his nym. 😱

Freebie posts/comments aren't limited to 2/5 anymore. So if you ever get to a zero balance, you can rebuild your balance. The same rules still apply to freebies otherwise, ie they have very limited visibility until other stackers zap them.

Oh, ok. I'm not sure that actually had much to do with it. I think he was testing the reward algorithm more than anything else.
