My coworker asked me - if satoshi were to sell his 1M btc, could he dump all of that and there be buyers. In the short term of course not - Interesting scenario to play out in ones head.

Do we know for certain that there are addresses worth 1m BTC controlled by Satoshi ? I read something that casted doubt on it so I personally donā€™t know.

Apparently, I wrote this on my FB two years ago. I canā€™t for the hell of me remember which colleague I was referring to then. Memories are short. Luckily, Bitcoin is forever haha.
This June holidays, I learnt something important about life.
I learnt that someone has crossed the chasm from colleague to friend when you:
  • care about whether he or she is going to be a parent
  • dare to broach what could potentially be a sensitive topic
  • are one of the first and/or few people at the workplace to be updated of his or her baby-making plans
How do you know when a colleague has become a friend?
reply
Huh my English is not opened a long sentences but I know a colleague has become a friend when is:
  1. Helping in my planing which only he has been knew.
  2. We together chating non-stop.
  3. He is critic my bad conclusion in precisely sentence. (Please coreect me if I used wrong form in sentences, your sats I recoverd)

GM. Today is holiday in my country. Just read the 21 rules of bitcoin by Saylor in BTC Prague:
Those who undestand buy bitcoin. Those who don't citicize bitcoin. Everyone is against bitcoin before they are for it. You will never be done learning about bitcoin. Bitcoin is powered by chaos Bitcoin is the only game in the casino that we can all win. Bitcoin won't protect you if you don't wear the armor. Bitcoin is the one thing in the universe that you can truly own. Everyoone gets bitcoin at the price they deserve Only buy bitcoin with the money you can't afford to lose Tickets to escape the matrix are priced in bitcoin. Bitcoin insight is restricted to those with a need to know. All your models will be destroyed The cure to economic ill is the orange pill. Be for bitcoin not agains fiat. Bitcoin is fore everyone Learn to think in bitcoin You don't change bitcoin, it changes you. Laser eyes protect you from endless lies. Respect bitcoin, or it will make you a clown out of you. You do not sell your bitcoin Spread bitcoin with love.

Things have to be said, it's not enough to be understood, if you feel something for someone, you have to go there and tell them, with your voice, loud and clear, because you think there will always be time, but it's not true, there comes a time when you just can't anymore, it's too late, and too late is never a good place to be...

reply
I served and am denied servicesā€¦. So good luck with that. He will be in California within 6-monthsā€¦ let the tech bros deal with him.
reply
Denied in what sense?
reply
Service personnel have limited access to financial services (loans, leases, other credit) without the permission of a senior officer. I couldnā€™t buy a Ā£250 suit on credit for my wedding without the say-so of an army accountantā€¦. Yet you let me fire Ā£15k missilesā€¦.
And itā€™s underreported but an army corporal with a family qualifies for income support.
reply
Wait, what? What is the rationalle behind this?
Is it something like ex-military being more likely to rack up debt (gambling, drugs)? I don't understand the logic.
reply
Serving military (other ranks ie not officers) are perceived to be more prone to debt etc by nature of their background.
An officer asking a young corporal if he can afford Ā£150 a month for a car repayment when he probably spends that on gin-and-tonics every nightā€¦ feels likes a class issue

Pleading

If you are asked to ā€œmake a pleaā€, the court is trying to strip you of your rights.
By being given only two choices, either guilty or not guilty, you will have inadvertently ā€œacceptedā€ the claim whichever choice you make.
Note: The word plea is short for plead, meaning to make an ā€œemotional appealā€, such as begging.
However, as a private natural person or ā€œliving breathing man or womanā€ you have a third option, which is to question the validity of the claim made against you. In other words, if a claim or charge has been made against you, you request they prove it.
If a plea is made without your authority, you must question the source of this pleading, as it is not yours.
No one within that courtroom can make a plea for you without your consent; this includes the judge or magistrate.
If anyone should attempt this, ask them the following:
ā€œHave I authorised you to speak for me?ā€
If they say ā€œnoā€, then request they retract their statement. If they say ā€œyesā€ then the burden of proof is on them, so now ask them to prove it.
