I think there will always be people who don't want to be completely self-sovereign. But at least they will have the option of handing over responsibility to a party they know personally. LndHub, LNBank, Galoy and Fedimint are all examples of a project that is custodial but at least they can be deployed and managed by friends/people you trust.

EMPTY

@gnilma with the top comment last year. Awesome and a timeless comment indeed.

reply

Thanks. I think many people with wife and kids probably feel the same way.

reply

I think I've figured it out. Other posts are also different from the original, right?

reply

I've made a small number of tweaks. One was to slightly increase the header sizes.

reply

I noticed a few changes, and I actually think it looks better this way. Feel free to change whatever you like. But that's not what you're asking in the post, is it?

reply

No, I'm trying to see if someone will tell me what your comment meant, since you chose to be cagey about it and I couldn't figure it out.

reply

this comment ? "one of my TOPs doesn't appear? πŸ˜‚"

I understand what the comment means, but you have to cut me some slack because I'm not a native English speaker and it could mean something else that I didn't get.

reply

I assumed you were talking about one of the headers.

reply

oh, no !

reply

I remember that comment from a year ago. Still top comment, to me subjectively, a year later.

It seems you are doing this every day with a script that you've written, correct? I've been silently zapping and reading these posts since you've started posting them. It's cool to go down memory lane and have a comment or post remind me of something in the past, even though my time on SN is just over a year old. Thank you for that.

reply

I'm much too dumb for that. I just have template saved that I update manually. For now, that's better anyway, since it means I actually read everything.

reply

I wouldn't call it dumb. It's just different skillsets and knowhow. Doing it manually does provide the benefit of reading through what you're posting and is also very good proof of work.

reply

I'm not too dumb to learn it (I don't think), but I am currently too dumb to do it.
