That's true, but I think the important context is which post they're under.
You're right. The most important thing is the context, that was a good addition. Adding the territory would only give it more visibility, it's up to you.
I suppose it doesn't hurt anything to write ~bitcoin a few more times. It's just a very minor inconvenience for the author.
