I can see the iPhone camera green dot when taking pics pointed directly at a light source.
Is that what that is? I didn’t know that was a thing. Yes I did use my iPhone.

Yea, it's a thing, and I think it happens on most phone cameras not just iPhone. I think the proper term is lens flare. It also seems to only appear when you use the main camera on the iPhone and don't show up when you use the wide angel (0.5) camera.
