Hi All - I was following up to see if anyone has tried using BTCPaywall. It is eventually my goal to write blogs, create videos, and podcasts, and sell products online - so I can quit working for someone.
I've gone down the BTCPayWall rabbit hole a bit and was wondering if anybody has used this and finds value in it here. I tried donating to it and it works seamlessly. I was just curious if there are other services you like more than BTCPaywall for selling digital products/services.
The thing that made me shy away from BTCPayWall was the documentation recommended using OpenNode as the backend for generating the lightning invoices. Fees are high with open node, but more importantly, I don't think it is as private as other lightning infrastructure setups. What are your thoughts here? Has anybody tried implementing BTCPayWall on their website? I love the idea of micropayments for small-form content, and more importantly not integrating with Wordpress's preferred avenue (PayPal or Stripe).
Taking a step back from having - an affordable turnkey solution for getting this stuff is critical from a business owner's standpoint! I'm personally less technical, and I can say there are many people less technical than myself who would find this near impossible/just go the PayPal route.
