@ekzyis is a bit fighty ( in a funny way ), often procrastinating ( too much on his hand I guess ), "lazy" but in a smart way! but he's one of the kindest stackers in SN:))
Thanks for building SN and being the dev always listening and fixing bugs as we catch them!
Oh, I think this is similar to what I had in mind when I mentioned r/roastme here. I just called it "roasting people" and not "honest feedback", lol. But yeah, there is a difference between just wanting to roast people and giving good, honest, precise and accurate feedback :)
I think it could be a great service. Honest feedback is always very useful and appreciated, so why not pay for it?
I believe me and @ekzyis have a lot in common when it comes to our interests and passions - programming, networking, security, privacy, bitcoin, and all things tech related.
His two territories ~crypto(cryptography) and ~security(meat space and cyber space), are part of my short list of territories that I frequently check out and recommend.
It's surprising that ek hasn't received many comments on his bio... considering the proof-of-work he consistently showcases and his contributions to SN. He definitely deserves more recognition. Hey, @Natalia and @davidw, show him some love by leaving a comment on his profile aswell! π
yeah, you are right, it was the first time i heard that term (maybe second, i think i remember a scene from Mr. Robot where he was in an underground hacker club or something and they were hacking each other i think that was CTF right?) π i haven't looked much into it tho
And I think they weren't hacking each other. That's a specific form of CTFs: Attack and Defense
I think it was a Jeopardy-style CTF as explained here:
Jeopardy-style CTFs has a couple of questions (tasks) in range of categories. For example, Web, Forensic, Crypto, Binary or something else. Team can gain some points for every solved task. More points for more complicated tasks usually. The next task in chain can be opened only after some team solve previous task. Then the game time is over sum of points shows you a CTF winer. Famous example of such CTF is Defcon CTF quals.
Howdy @ek, glad to see you're one of the most prolific stackers around!
Just want to introduce you to the ~AGORA territory, a place to buy and sell your products or services with other stackers and obviously use bitcoin P2P as a medium of exchange.
Read this intro guide whenever needed, and if you have any feedback or suggestion on how we can make this space more useful, please do get in touch!
Wish you great and prosperous times around this wonderful corner of the internet!
I'll be honest I still have a few erc20 dust stuff I can't pay the fees to do anything with since I sold the eth. Oh well. I'm glad I sailed out of that storm.
Finding spaces like this, interacting with others, and actually using lightning has been a way better experience.
