No, they weren't scratches. His ear might have got that wound while falling down on the stage.. but I insist they were real. I've watched the clips so many times. Also zooming in and out.

Was the assassination attempt on Trump fake?

Those were real blood marks on his cheeks and there is every chance that the gunshot just rubbed his ear. So, why make such claims that it was/might be a conspiracy! He's already leading and by every chance he's also going to be the next POTUS. He can't just plan an assassination of him and would not have directed that a bullet pass so close to him!
