I assume this is really supposed to be "who other than George Carlin is the funniest comedian?" Even then, Wong's the only one here whose standup ever makes me laugh -- Gervais and Carrey are both fine in comedy movies, but not on stage. Rivers just never clicked for me (though I love Hacks, where the lead character is clearly at least a bit inspired by her).

Give me Carlin, Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Stephen Wright, probably a few dozen others.
