Have been noticing lately the Nostr clients are starting to provide different offerings, specifically around privacy. I have my personal favorite but I am curious to find out what the pulse is. Seems to be only a few care enough about privacy.

Nostros and nozzle. First one is powerful, second one is simple. They make a great power combo.

I mostly use primal, out of habit. Also because it seems to be the reference one as browser experience? Or are there other ones? I used to use nostrgram.co, but that one is not available anymore. I haven't made the step yet to a Android based client... mostly because I can't be bothered yet copying my private key any other way than using getAlby browser extension...
To be fair, I only visit nostr clients when I get a direct link to it, mostly here on SN. I don't visit it regularly.

Which one is fastest, in your opinion? The small lag is partially what's keeping me from feeling nostr is fully user friendly yet...
reply
I have both primal and Damus as I find they are both useful

Me too

Basically Amethyst on Android, noStrudel on Web/Desktop. For really specific stuff I might use something else: like Highlighter (Web/Desktop) for long notes and 0xchat (Mobile) for the integration with npub.cash.

I really like Nostrudel. It's fast and simple. And I like the character of the design, it feels unique.

What he ^^ said :-)

Oh yeah, Nostrudel is fast, indeed! Love it

I really like Yakihonne, it's slick and smooth. I'm slowly working on very long form content I'm planning to publish through it.

Very clean appearance

Used to be Damus, but now Primal! Love them all though.

I use Amethyst on my mobile and Primal on web/desktop. I do use Primal on mobile also sometimes.
I am looking forward to the Damus offerings for Android and Desktop which are in the pipeline also, especially Desktop, I would love to use one less browser tab.
reply
I'm really looking forward to Notedeck (damus) on desktop too! Coracle on browser is nice too because of the Web of Trust feature now
reply
I am using ZBD! Nice app.

Nostur is my favorite due to the organization of the different feeds on the home screen. Being able to customize them and quickly switch between them is something I hadn’t seen in other clients (at least the last time I did a broad comparison). I particularly like having different feeds for different groups of people.

I voted for Primal, but I am curious to try Damus on android once it's available.

Damus and Coracle. All but two of my relays are defunct though so I'm not sure I'm getting much reach.

Used to be Primal/Damus guy and stayed with Primal.

I've only used Amethyst so far, so an obvious choice...

I’m sticking w/ damus rn v1.5 specifically because I haven’t updated iOS to later version which the app currently supported. I enjoyed it and I’m contented with what the app doing rn.
When on desktops, i use nostr.band just for scrolling around.
