Chris Martenson was the guy I started watching in January 2020, the only source I could find at the time that was really digging into COVID and what was coming. I think he's had pretty good takes ever since with the lockdown, vaccine mandates, etc. I haven't been watching him for a good two or three years but he does great analysis with the data that's publicly available.
  • Local police were using the building Crooks fired from as a staging area...
  • An officer climbed to the roof moments before Crooks started shooting
    • Crooks aimed the rifle at him and the officer ducked and fell from the building...
  • Three separate witnesses mention the shots from(?) the "water tower"
    • This water tower, that is missing from most of the diagrams of the incident
    • They could be confusing where the shots were from, obviously https://m.stacker.news/40185 You can see everything from up there...
  • Kim "Not Resigning" Cheatle SS Director:
    • "Unacceptable and shouldn't happen again."
    • "That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point (???)"
  • Chris seems pretty confident that there were two shooters

It’s difficult for people in the kill box to determine the direction via the sound of the report, because at that range, there is also the crack of the sonic boom of the bullet that is heard before the report of the rifle. Add to this any other buildings that are reflective surfaces for the sound, and it is incredibly difficult to determine via audio cues alone.
If someone saw a muzzle flash, that would hold a lot more credibility to the actual location of the shooter.

This immediately breaks down with him assuming that ladder was there before the shooting occurred. For all we know it was put there after the shooting so law enforcement could get onto the roof.
One of the first witness interviews I watched claimed they saw him crawling from roof to roof for about 15 minutes.

Yeah this article just says a cop climbed a ladder, could be a different one. Another said Crooks bought a 5' ladder and that's definitely taller than 5'.

A local law enforcement officer climbed to the roof and found Crooks, who pointed the rifle at the officer. The officer then retreated down the ladder, and the gunman quickly fired toward Trump, the officials said. That’s when U.S. Secret Service gunmen shot him, the officials said.

Someone in X is saying CNN is reporting he was seen carrying a 12ft ladder, but I can’t find their report yet.

Assuming the officer ever got to the roof (ie the unverifiable "we almost stopped him"), I've heard both the officer was on a ladder and that he was standing on the shoulders of another officer. IIRC over the last few days they pivoted from (or learned through investigation) the officer was on shoulders of another officer not on a ladder.

I need to see more breakdown off all the available footage. I did see something this morning that looked like a single shot striking someone in the crowd and then a railing. The trajectory of that shot was more consistent with the water tower.
The nearby ear-witnesses are sure the shots came from the roof.

So, it's getting to a never ending speculation zone! This has to be just that Trump was aimed by an assassin and we all condemn it!
Nobody must speculate this or that in it. Violence has to have no place in a country that boasts of a lot of modern peacefulness!
