I've been regularly going to Vegas for 25+ years for work conferences....Since 2020 it has gotten noticeably more sketchy. Last year there was 2 guys in the lobby of the Bellagio trying to shake me down (ie. pressure me to donate to them).
I spoke later to doorman and explained what happened and he said "yes, its all hoodrats from LA that come here now to commit crimes".
I have a feeling if they complete this project it will swamp Vegas with crime.

Public transportation is a mode of transport for criminals. It’s one reason why Beverly Hills blocked subway construction for decades until they caved a few years ago. And I think it was a lawsuit that forced them
Santa Monica and other beach cities have blocked subway construction

You know I never used to think this until now. I live close to a Metro and I see constant theft of fares. Riders just leave their trash all around. And you get the most random homeless people just making riding not as appealing. It’s sad tho because in Japan they have zero of these issues

This may not be a popular opinion... But we need to start punishing people for even minor offenses like littering and fare jumping. There's a reason these things don't happen in places like Japan and Singapore

We also need to punish for shoplifting and smash grab and looting and arson
We need to enforce immigration law.
We need to build a wall and set land mines and explosives near the Mexican border

Japan and Singapore lack diversity in a good way

I am quoting Joe Biden. Look it up because I know you don't believe me. Search for "Biden racial jungles"
