I couldn't get into Peaky. It seemed a little meh in the first episode. I also didn't like Narcos though, so we are probably different boats.

It seems like we're on different pages because I rated both of these series very highly. If you don't like the style, that's one thing, but you shouldn't give up on a series after just one episode. I almost quit watching 'Breaking Bad' during the first season, but I'm glad I didn't because it got much better and became one of my favorites. The same thing happened with 'Fargo'.

I liked Breaking Bad's first season and Fargo's. I judge the showrunners based on how they deliver the first episode unless someone warns me it was mismanaged originally.

You really need to rethink how you evaluate series. Judging a show by its pilot is a huge mistake. You're missing out on so many good ones! You gotta watch at least a season to get a feel for it, but obviously, you have to be into the genre. I'm obsessed with anything gang-related 🤠

I stopped watching Narco halfway thru the first season. It was good but it didn’t hook me
