I dealt with a super liberal attorney who lived in Berkeley and was on the Board of a nonprofit client; she worked with Kamala when she was attorney general and thought she was awful — basically a lazy incompetent bully. Also the only California attorney general to fail the bar.
I had no idea she failed the bar. I have heard she is a bully. I'm sure Trump's campaign will be doing opposition research on that. A few years ago a lot of that was made public when (I think) her chief of staff quit.
I have a hard time honestly evaluating her. Sometimes she comes across as intelligent but just very poor at speaking / expressing her thoughts.
This inability to express her thoughts is compounded by the strange habit of laughing (cackling) at very inappropriate times....like when being asked whats the fate of Ukrainian refugees...
It ultimately doesn't matter though, being unable to express yourself publicly basically excludes you from being a politician, since that is essentially "the job"
Its probable that Kamala may come across ok if she is reading strictly composed scripts and she doesn't deviate from that script.
In any debate, DJT's strategy should be to prompt her to go off-script as often as possible and speak extemporaneously....she will cackle and say inane things and lose the public quickly.
Kamala ran a terrible campaign. She dropped out in Dec 2019. She never made it to Iowa or NH
