Silly question maybe because most of the peeps here will login to their nodes to vote.
This question came up while surfing SN...
What is your level of investment with the network ?
I just use bitcoin all is well0.0%
I run my bitcoin node57.1%
I run my bitcoin and ln node14.3%

Fun fact: many bitcoin users still don't know that you can run a bitcoin node on a mobile device, in their mind running a node must be a RasPi machine or dedicated linux machine.
Is not...
Look into Blixt, SBW, Breez, Nayuta apps and have your own BTC/LN node in your pocket. And also more private.

Hey @DarthCoin can you please elaborate ?
So you can run your own node and validate your txs right ? But, are you contributing to the network? I mean... can your node be awake 24/7 on a mobile phone without sucking your battery?
I am curious
Also aie aie. I had exactly 10 minutes to edit my validated-by-mistake poll. I couldn't cope with the stress of the timer @k00b 😅. Sorry for the poorly written choices.
That is kinda myth. The main goal of running a full node is to validate your OWN txs. After that is keeping decentralized the Bitcoin network.
You are not contributing too much if your full node is just sitting there and not seeding also to many other nodes.
Yes. Look into how Neutrino works or lite nodes.
A good scenario is:
A mobile LN node is a "private" node, it doesn't need to be online all the time, just when you need to do a payment and is using only "private"/unannounced channels.
Just for your personal use of BTC and LN is enough. You run your node in a private mode.
