I think her district is Brooklyn
reply
Has she helped her district in any way?
reply
The long and short is... kinda... The federal government is starting to roll out those hundreds of billions spent from last Congress she helped pass
reply
hundreds of billions? Anything that is worthwhile?
reply
Ehhhhh I mean some of the money is going to really important and I think revolutionary tech with payoff sooner rather than later.... that being said there is also a lot of wasteful spending on stuff that sounds good and I would love it to work but it isn't economically viable now or in the foreseeable future
reply
Frivolous spending. Like we need any more of that...
reply
no idea
but local politics makes a bigger difference for her district
What is she voting on in Congress? Federal issues that make little difference for her district
reply
She continues to pick her battle of reproductive rights and environmental justice which in her district are popular still. However she is starting to run into more headways because that is really all she has
reply
I see. She is starting to not be relevant anymore?
reply
Yeah kinda... its the same song and dance at this point tbh
reply
Well, just wait till she has some kind of very public scandal and has to resign. Its only a matter of time.

Abortion is a state issue, not local. NY has legalized abortion for 39 weeks or more.
reply
I 110% agree that it is a state issue. She is a huge proponent for Federal Leg to supersede state laws. What is funny about that though is say she gets that... Then next time a Republican Admin comes in they could pass Federal Leg over say oil and natural gas drilling and supersede what her state wanted
reply
Yeah. She is a very sore loser.
reply
