If I had to guess it is because she does not know anything about BTC and the policy. Mark Cuban has already come out and said her campaign reached out to him to help educate her and her team doesn't want her to embarrass herself while she has the momentum.

I do not know anyone that is around her staff enough to really say for certain but I would say if you are going to Mark Cuban to explain BTC and crypto stuff to you I feel like you are pretty out of the loop.
Trump is pretty educated in the area and more importantly with what he doesn't know he has surrounded himself with people that do know and can inform him. JD Vance is a BTC owner and a very vocal Sen. on the hill about the government having a very very light touch when it comes to crypto and imposing regulations

Yeah I do think that played a large role along with Vance's age. He was the youngest person in the Senate!
