The other ones don’t let me go where I want so I hired myself a new walker. I like her modern approach to dog walking known as “follow the dog”.
My sister's family had two sweet but out of control labs. You couldn't walk them at all. He liked to say they were trained by three kids under the age of ten. They just ran throughout the neighborhood.

I had a big dumb lab growing up. There was no training that big dummy. What a great dog!

Our dog was very difficult to walk when we first got her. All she wanted to do was chase bunnies and squirrels but she is very good now.
Too much walking with the little one might change that. I kept asking my daughter "where are we going" and she would reply "we are following the dog". To which I replied "she is just going to walk us to the park" and my daughter of course said "ok".
So in the end they both got what they wanted.

I think the dog won't let her go ahead of her!
Which breed it is?
reply
The dog is very happy to lead the walk if you let her.
She is a Pointer mixed with a some Dalmatian.

all the blessings 🙏😇 for your family. how great, nothing better for a child than a dog, I had one, my wife had one, but for various reasons now we can't afford a bigger place to live to be able to have a puppy 🐕 my daughter is in love with the idea of being able to have a puppy. but unfortunately for now I can't grant her that, I work hard every day and religiously stack up every week so that at some point I can move and make my daughter's dream of having a puppy come true. Thanks for sharing. the happiness of our children is everything!
