I want to discuss something that i am thinking, related to public transit payment experience with a bank card and how I think it can't currently be simulated with any potential bitcoin lightning payment.
Many people think that normal payment with a card is easier since you just swipe and you are done, instead of scanning qr code and pressing "pay". Personally I do think seeing and confirming a payment is better, but automatically paying on scanning and scanning with nfc instead of camera is easy to develop if it's such an issue.
On the other hand let's take a look how a good public transit payment currently works in many cities. You enter a metro, boar a bus or a tram, you swipe the card and a payment us deducted. Each successive payment is tracked for the same card, and once a certain amount is reached (the daily subscription amount), you can swipe your card and use the transit network without further payment for the day. Now this is possible because the system can track that the swipes have been done from the same card. This is not possible with lightning. Is it possible such an easy experience to be simulated in some way?
