You know I noticed something quite inspiring about some of my Bitcoin friends.
These are not authors or influencers or anything like that, just local plebs, but several have reached out to me with small essays or quotes and sometimes longer pieces about Bitcoin, freedom, and liberty that they have been writing on their own.
It demonstrates to me a deep search for truth that seeks to engage the material (books, podcasts, the whitepaper etc) that is already out there and to then go beyond them to resynthesise the ideas for themselves. This kind of intellectual rigour is grassroots and emergent.
I wonder how many of you keep a diary or journal where you have written your thoughts about Bitcoin? How many of you have questions that you have left in a book? Have even found yourself questioning things within or without the Bitcoin world that others take for granted?
I wonder if this trait echos the kind of energy that the founding fathers of the US carried?
