If you purchase a territory and put it in your will or something, we can always manually transfer it when you pass.
In general though, I'd recommend against viewing territories this seriously and purchasing or renting if you view them this seriously. They aren't sure things for the faint of heart. They will be money pits until we prove that they aren't.
No for money pits but to pass on the work I might have done when I pass. Also, when you say that owning a territory should be like a non-profit why would someone invest in it if it won't generate any profits?

I never said they should be a non-profit. I said they are unprofitable.

I don't profit from SN, yet I work myself to the bone for it. I might one day profit from it, which I wouldn't mind, but I'm building SN for the non-financial things I get by building it.
Financial rewards are just one kind of reward. Financial rewards are the most common reward, the most universal. Financial rewards are very important for that reason, but they're also the least meaningful.

unprofitable.
Ok. I understand your point.
I also didn't say financial profits. I said profits and they should definitely be most meaningful and distinguished.

All good. I just wanted to be clear just in case.

Thanks! I hope everyone else should also learn from your viewpoint.
