Given that China is the world’s producer of cheap (and admittedly substandard) goods, I was impressed by the lunch buffet I had at Haidilao, one of China’s leading brands.
It offered steamboat buffets, but it had ingenious ways of making people stay longer than they would have expected to. They employ a full-time staff to supervise kids at their indoor playground, which is a sure fire way of helping parents relax and tuck into the food to their heart’s content. They also have the welfare of women at heart, as illustrated by how they provide manicure services.
Actually, the buffet there is more costly compared to other places. But it was worth the price because it satisfied the curiosity of my wife who has always wanted to dine there. And we all know, happy wife happy life.
Wild! Thanks for sharing.
