I often see people suggesting that you should start viewing the price of things in sats instead of fiat.
How does one accomplish this when typically you figure out how much something costs in fiat and convert it into sats? For example, if I go and get a large pizza how do I view that as costing 33k sats instead of $20 USD if not doing the conversion from fiat to sats?
reply

if not doing the conversion from fiat to sats?
I thought that's what they mean: that you're able to do this conversion on the fly.
I simply multiply everything by 1.5 and add two zeroes to it. That's roughly the price in sats in my currency.

When people talk about “being grateful,” they usually talk about the good things in their lives; the things they’ve succeeded at, the beautiful memories they’ve amassed. Yes, we should certainly be extremely grateful for all of that. But perhaps even more so, we should be grateful for all of our failures and hardships, because these are ultimately the things that drive us forward, that really make us grow as human beings.

Non-compliance

Compliance and being compelled refers to the obligated action or fact of complying with a wish or command given by another.
However the act of complying means you had a prior agreement to comply.
Therefore an act of “non-compliance” means you agree that you should follow the order or command, but you have chosen not to, resulting in the loss of your honour, and now the party issuing said order can act upon you.
One can finally simplify something after truly understanding it.

The greatest hazard of all, losing one’s self, can occur very quietly in the world, as if it were nothing at all. No other loss can occur so quietly; any other loss - an arm, a leg, five dollars, a wife, etc. - is sure to be noticed.
–Søren Kierkegaard
Navigating a world that dictates your identity, beliefs, and actions can be incredibly challenging. The quest for meaning is a continuous journey, yet if you discover your genuine, authentic self, cherish it fiercely. The weight of external pressure, criticism, and the absence of understanding and support from those around you, along with the sensation of being excluded, ignored, or rejected, can be excruciatingly painful. It may be all too easy to conform once more, but doing so could lead to the loss of your true self, which can feel akin to a living death.
