Thanks for sharing it. It's just always a pleasure. I feel like part of the art is in the treatment of the art and in itself, it says much more than 90% of the art world on permanent display in galleries.
Why? Maybe he was just sat at home and was feeling bored, but I hope we get more.

Yeah I hope so as well! I know one of the places that he did the pelicans on they don't want to remove it but also want to figure out how to protect it which is nice to see!

The birds eating the fish is dope

What do they mean? The monkey thing looks rad. The pelicans are also super creative. Does it have to have a meaning beyond it just looks cool?

cool things! A comeback!

I love his work, too. I liked the girl with the balloon, and his antics with it.

In DC they had an Unauthorized galley that was super super cool to walk through. It was the numbered prints that he would release way back when and then some things that they had even gotten from personal collaborators with him!

I liked his art from a while back. I havent followed his stuff lately. I just remember the painting shredding half way, but in his workshop he got it to fully shred. Then it became worth more! I would put the youtube video up, but my youtube isnt working well lately. https://youtu.be/eXKE0nAMmg4?si=yzm37a20KGJnGfZm

I remember that and because he ended up doing that it made the freakin art worth more!
reply
Yeah, it was supposed to shred all the way. But its weird that the auction house didnt look behind the painting. Usually it is examined thoroughly.

My little theory is that someone saw it but was told not to mess with it personally and the person agreed to look the other way
reply
Probably. But have you seen how thick that frame actually is? Its pretty suspicious.
reply
Yeah it really wasnt the most concealed thing I have ever seen! I mean running it through an x ray machine alone would have set it off!
